AngeliCare is always on the lookout for compassionate, dependable individuals who enjoy working with seniors and looking for a career as a caregiver. We’re currently accepting applications from in-home care providers with a minimum of 6 months work experience and whom meet the following criteria:

• • Acceptable DMV record and insurance coverage
  • Reliable transportation
  • Adequately speak, read and write English
  • Verifiable work experience and personal references
  • Clean criminal record (must be bondable)
  • Pass TB test

Effective 1/1/2016, the Home Care Services Consumer Protection Act of the State of California requires anyone working for a licensed Home Care Organization (HCO), such as AngeliCare, to be a California registered Home Care Aide.  To become a Home Care Aide with AngeliCare:

Please be sure to complete all areas, especially the segments pertaining to work experience and references.

2. If you have yet to do so, register as a Home Care Aide (HCA) in the California registry.  To register, complete the following steps:

a)  Complete the Home Care Aide Registration Application.  You can submit an application online at the following link: Home Care Aide Registration

b) Submit Live Scan Fingerprints

c)  Obtain TB clearance within 90 days prior to application or within 7 days after submitting the HCA application.

HCA registration with the State of California can be processed in conjunction with the submission of your AngeliCare application.  However, inclusion in the HCA registry does not guarantee employment with AngeliCare.  If you are already on the registry, then all you need to do is submit an AngeliCare application. Upon being hired, AngeliCare will then associate you on the registry as an active employee.
